Logistics industry veteran Bouchard joins Gilmer as President, spearheading next phase of growth

Gilmer, a leading third-party logistics provider, today announced the appointment of logistics industry veteran David Bouchard as President.
With over three decades of experience in strategic planning, operations, and sales across international markets for the food, high-tech, retail, automotive, and consumer industries, Bouchard brings invaluable expertise to the role. He will oversee Gilmer's day-to-day operations across its 14 strategic locations in Georgia and Louisiana, totaling 2.5 million square feet, and will be responsible for driving the company's next phase of growth. Based out of the company's Perry, GA headquarters, Bouchard will report directly to the Gilmer Family Board of Directors.

Bouchard brings a wealth of experience to his new role at Gilmer, having previously served as CEO of DB Schenker Logistics for the Americas, a top-tier logistics service provider. During his tenure at DB Schenker, Bouchard achieved double-digit revenue growth and managed a workforce of more than 8,000 employees. Before his time at DB Schenker, Bouchard spent 22 years at Ryder System, Inc., where he held various leadership positions, including leading the international division, overseeing corporate strategy, managing high-tech and industrial business segments, and leading dedicated contract carriage and transportation management businesses, as well as a commercial leasing and rental region. He also held leadership roles in several corporate restructures and strategy formulation. Prior to joining Gilmer, Bouchard served as President of Flagler Global Logistics, where he provided integrated supply chain management solutions.
